We pressed every legitimate case and delivered 72 resolutions with 5 reinstatements—and we’ll keep holding the company to the contract.
How we achieved this.
Returned wages and overtime to workersOverturned terminations and reinstated members
Reduced or removed unfair discipline from files
Corrected pay rates and job classifications; enforced seniority/posting rules
Secured time-off entitlements (sick/personal, bereavement) and enforced our newly won “no doctor’s note under 5 days”
Ensured proper stat/holiday pay and fair vacation scheduling
Protected bargaining-unit work (stopping outside agents where language applies)
Backed owner-operators on minimums, routes, deductions, and pension eligibility compliance
Strengthened health & safety and accommodations; stopped unsafe work
Pressured management on timelines and escalated cases when required (grievance → arbitration)
“Historic wins—full stop. Under my leadership, we secured the highest wage increases for hourly members and the best Owner-Operator deal to date—higher guaranteed minimums with the largest yearly increases and pension access. We also won a shorter four-year term, putting us back at the table sooner to keep wages moving. And when it mattered, we led our Local’s first-ever strike—an overwhelming success that shocked the company and strengthened this agreement. No chairperson before has delivered this level of historic gains, union momentum, and company accountability.”
